The USSF will take place June 22-26, 2010 at Cobo Hall and Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit. The USSF will convene social movements from across the United States and globally.

I went to the USSF to find out what it was about and participate in as many water workshops as possible. The most amazing part was all the shoes on the mall from people who had died in 2006-7. That really stuck with me.

Self-organized workshop proposals are due March 20th. If your organization has been considering submitting a workshop proposal, now's the time to get serious. Organizations must be registered to submit a proposal. We encourage you to collaborate with other organizations whenever possible.

US Social Forum organizing website goes live during World Social Forum 10th Anniversary. Organizers say the potential of the Social Forum will be realized by the imagination and creativity of its participants.

Detroit Selected as Host Site for 2010 US Social Forum

01.25.2010 –  Detroit, seen by many as ground zero for the current economic crisis, has been named as the site for the 2nd United States Social Forum. As many as 20,000 are expected to participate in the Forum, which runs from June 22nd through June 26, 2010.
